Jax Chamber Arlington Council Small Business Leader

TerraWise Homes President Melody Shacter has been voted 2017 Small Business Leader of the Year for the Jax Chamber Arlington Council.

The Chamber's prestigious Small Business Leader awards recognize one member from each of its 12 councils.  It's a highly coveted honor for local small businesses.  Members must meet minimum qualifications to be eligible including:

-Be a member of the JAX Chamber in good standing
-Be an owner, partner or shareholder of at least 25 percent of the business
-Be active in the day-to-day management of the company
-Be established locally in the same business for at least three years
-Demonstrate professional business acumen and leadership
-Have gross revenues of less than 5 million dollars per year for the previous three years

Recipients nominated are selected by the Small Business Leaders from the previous year.  One council member is awarded the overall award at the Chambers 2017 Annual Meeting in January.
